Most of our customers come as referrals. In this case i had known the mom for a very long time and it was a real honor that she thought of us to work with her son. He was an excellent student. He was new to the language of diamonds and engagement rings. Living in Santa Barbara, he wanted the ease and the experience of seeing what he was looking for and to have the face to face conversations required for expenditures of higher ticket items. He asked pertinent questions, did his homework, and even visited other jewelers to get a feel for what he was getting into. In a very short period of time he became knowledgeable about diamonds and ended up choosing what made him feel good about the upcoming proposal.

The best part of the whole experience was honoring the design he and his fiancé were repeatedly drawn to. He was open to new ideas, which is why we added the diamond accents at the base of the center head, but he was very confident about the look he was after on his future wife’s hand. The final ring ended up being elegant and feminine. The center stone was also his particular choice. The rectangular diamond can come in a variety of cuts. He chose the radiant because it like the round brilliants on the shank have incredible sparkle.
